August Jackpot and Paid to Sign up Idea contest
Well it’s August, which means we need a new Contest idea. I’m leaving it to you guys, I need to know what you want and what you’d like to see happen.
So, with that said ….. we will have a little bonus for you. Post what you’d like to see as a Paid to Sign up contest on our blog and receive .10 added to your cash balance.

Ok, what if you did something more random so the same people didn’t always win. I’ll try to explain. You have your list that shows who’s completed the most offer for the month. If you (the admin) were to pick a number 1-9 at the beginning of the contest then everyone who hits a multiple of that number gets a little “something”. IE you pick 7 as the number. Then whoever is 7 wins, 14, wins, 21 wins, etc. I know I’ll never get the top 3 but heck, I might be able to be #56 at the end of the month LOL.

Hello I’m so glad you joined the site. I hope you enjoy it, make some new friends and a few bucks too! Games are a good idea but, the games don’t bring revenue to the site, they are just there for your entertainment. What we’re trying to do is get people to do the most offers, make money and then get a bonus for doing so.

One thing I’d like to see on the PTSU is the ability to post some instructions as to what the user can do while there. Be able to give some tips and what the site is about so I can get value out of my sign up. It doesn’t do any good to buy sign ups for something and then people just sign up and never do anything with it simply because they don’t know what to do on the site. There are many good sites I’m on and if somebody didn’t tell me what to do, I would have just abandoned them.
That’s something I’d have to really look into. The instructions themselves come right from the affiliates. I’m not sure how much room there is to add any additional verbiage. Thanks for your input and let me see what I can do.

Ok, so tonight I added extra information in the requirements section for a few of the offers. It’s alot more work, but I think it might help a bit.

For the August or future contests, I would like to see…
Referral Contest – For the referral to count toward the contest. The ref must complete offers totaling $0.25 before referrer is credited. The prize should be determined by the amount of offers completed.
PTC Contest – Before this contest can be created, I think the PTC’s should be raised to a minimum of $0.005 (1/2 cent). So, LBR would need to charge more for the PTC Advertising. (This could be a contest for next month or so)
PTSU Contest – This contest is becoming redundant, so a change up is needed. I suggest a contest where users do offers, but this is how you win….
User picks a number from 1-10 (User must submit number to admin via a message within 3-5 days of contest start). At the end of the contest the user(s) with the winning number gets the prize. (Admin must pick the number from a basket or something) If more than one user has the winning number, then the prize is divided evenly.
To determine the amount of the prize, I suggest a portion be taken out of every offer that is completed and add it to the pending prize amount. (This should only be for offers that are $0.15 or more.

I like your referral contest idea. I have to figure out how to put that in the panel so it’ll work right. I’m going to work on that!
The PTC, I hate to raise the price for the members. The PTC’s that aren’t paid for by members come from the affiliates and don’t pay out all that much, that’s why the price is so low. The higher they pay, the more you guys get.
The PTSU is kind of like the jackpot only I would pick the winner. With the jackpot the system picks the winner randomly. I would have to work on figuring out how to keep track through the system AND not allow the system to automatically pick a winner. Another thing for me to work on.

I am new to this site so I may not understand the concepts quite yet but here goes my idea. If you enter 10c everytime someone completes an offer at the end of the week the person with the most offers for that week should win the jackpot for the same week. I guess it’s more of a chance to win what you put in.
Hello Rita and welcome! So you’re saying put .10 into the jackpot (so the prize goes higher as the week goes by) and for every offer completed you get an entry into the jackpot to win that prize? Not a bad idea for a newbie!

That is kinda how the Jackpot works now except the winner is random.
I would love to see a ptc contest, because we haven’t had one of those in a while. I think that would be fun. I also like the idea of having weekly contest for those who have completed the most offers too. Don’t know if that is much help but thought I would put in my two cents.
